Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District's fitness program strives to positively impact our community and surrounding areas by providing the highest quality experience through safe, effective and fun fitness programming. 

We offer a variety of exercise options to meet your fitness needs. Challenge yourself with any of our many group fitness classes tailored to all fitness levels.  We offer state-of-the-art treadmills, ellipticals, stair steppers, stationary bikes and more in our cardio area. Work out in our weight room, circuit machine area or outdoor fitness area (weather permitting). We have many options whether you're looking for weight training, athletic and cardiovascular training or a personalized program with one of our nationally accredited personal trainers.

New Fitness Classes

Muslce Mix: New Year, New Rear: Strong Glutes | Begins January 5

LesMills Bodypump HEAVY! 

Unlike the original Les Mills BODYPUMp, which focuses on higher repetitions with lighter weights, HEAVY uses longer recovery periods to focus on technique and lifting heavier loads with more foundational lifts like squats, deadlifts and presses. It is designed to be more accessible than traditional free-weight lifting, with expert coaching and iconic music driving the workout!

HEAVY will be offered the 2nd and 4th weeks each month during the following Bodypump classes:

Aqua Stretch Therapy is designed for one-on-one therapy in the pool and offers a range of health benefits from pain relief, improved mobility, restoring flexibility, balance and coordination, muscle relaxation, athletic conditioning and more!

Women's Weight Training

Gain confidence and transform your mind and body while learning how to lift free weights and circuit equipment with the proper form and technique to enhance overall strength and body tone.
