Facility Amenities
The swimming pools at the Carbon Valley Recreation Center offer fun for all ages. The large aquatics area is comprised of three separate bodies of water which feature the following:
- A 25-yard lap pool with diving board and 16.5' aqua climbing wall.
Lap lane availability is limited. View the pool schedule or call 303-833-3660 to confirm availability. - Activity pool with play features including a lazy river, play structure with slide, and two-story water slide.
- Hot tub eatures waterfall and jets, staying at a warm, therapeutic 102–104°F. Open to ages 14+ (ages 9–13 with adult supervision).
- Steam room has warm, humid heat that supports relaxation and recovery. Open to ages 14+ (ages 10–13 with adult supervision).

Scheduled Maintenance
- 8 AM to 9 PM, Wednesday, May 20
Wednesday, May 20 will begin maintenance repair work on the pool area HVAC system, including installing new equipment on top of the building. As a result, the east side of the parking lot will be closed for large maintenance vehicles (and a crane) to safely maneuver. The entire pool deck area will also be closed for the day beginning at 8 am. The HVAC system will be off during repairs.

- East side of the parking lot
Overflow parking available behind the rec center or on public streets.
Things to Know
- Children 7 & under (and all non-swimmers) must be within arm's reach of someone 14+ at all times.
- Children 8-9 must be actively supervised by someone 14+ in the pool area.
- Children 10-13 must be accompanied by someone 14+ in the facility.
