NEW for 2026! Splash, learn, and explore - get a feel for swim lessons while helping train our next great instructors!

Join us for our first Swim Lab experience; a unique opportunity for your child to get in the water, practice skills, and explore our swim lesson program—all for only a $5 registration fee.  

During this session, swimmers will: 

• Participate in a 30-minute guided swim lesson 
• Receive a general skill check and level recommendation in a smaller instructor to student ratio
• Get comfortable with our instructors and teaching style in a fun, supportive environment 

This experience is part of a hands-on training initiative for our Starfish-certified swim instructors. Instructors will be working under direct supervision of the Aquatics Coordinator to practice teaching techniques, receive real-time coaching, and build their skills. 

 

What to Expect 

This is not a standard swim lesson—it is designed as a structured training environment for our instructors.

 We will conduct three 30-minute labs:

Lab 1: Swim Lab - Infants & Toddlers

• 4:45 - 5:15 PM

Lab 2: Skills Evaluation

• 5:30 - 6:00 PM

Lab 3: Swim School Structured Lesson

• 6:15 - 6:45 PM

Registration opens 7/13 and closes 7/16. 

Lessons will still be engaging and beneficial for swimmers, but there may be brief pauses to allow for instructor feedback and guidance from the Aquatics Coordinator.

All activities are closely supervised, and our certified instructors are supported throughout the entire session.
