Welcome to The Carbon Valley Rec Connect 

February may be flying by, but there’s still plenty of time to show your heart some love at Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation! As Heart Health Month continues, we’re here to help you stay strong physically, recharge mentally, and connect socially in our many programs offered this spring.

From programs that keep you moving to events that bring neighbors together, the Rec is buzzing with energy. If you’ve been meaning to sign up, try something new, or start planning for spring, now’s the time—many programs are filling quickly!

Grab your calendar and take a look. There’s still so much to enjoy before we turn the page to March!

Current Registrations:

• Summer Camp & Camp Bloom- Summer & Spring Break camps registration are now open.
• Gymnastics Session 1: Registration opens Feb. 16D/Feb. 23ND, session 1 runs March 9-June 6
• Junior Trainers- Private training made for teens aged 11-14 to use the workout facilty. Sunday & Monday dates, March-April. 
• Adult Spring Volleyball League is now open!
• Jr. Nuggets Basketball Camp: Grades K-8th on Saturday March 7

New  At The Rec:

• 50% off drop-in passes every Wednesday in February from 4pm to close! 
• Aqua Stretch Therapy- This one-on-one therapy in the pool and offers a range of health benefits from pain relief, improved mobility, restoring flexibility, balance and coordination, muscle relaxation, athletic conditioning and more!

New Fitness Classes:

• Total Body Training: Mondays | 12:00 pm | Jenn
• BODYPUMP HEAVY: Mondays | 6:00 pm | Cathy
• HIGH Fitness: Thursdays | 9:15 am | Whitney

• Summer Camp Assistant Director: Must be 21 years old and have at least 910 Varified hours of care of school age children, or degree in similar related field, equivalent certification and/or job-related experience. See job description for full details; $18.75 per hour
• Lifeguard Training: Starguard Lifeguarding training registration is open, training runs March 19-20. Lifeguard job positions are open; $16.35-$16.85 Per-Hour
• Sports Supervisor: Must be 18 years old and have experience supervising athletic events in a recreational or educational setting; $15.85-$16.85 hourly
• Active Adult Representitive: Assist with daily operations and cleanliness of the Active Adults Community Center; $15.16-$16.16/hour

• Guest Service Representitive: provides direct customer service to community members, guests, and staff; $15.16-$16.16 hourly
