Youth Baseball
CVPRD Youth Baseball League offers age-appropriate divisions for athletes ages 4 through 12, providing a fun and supportive environment for players to learn, grow, and enjoy the game of baseball.
Each division is designed to promote skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Coaches focus on teaching core fundamentals and creating a positive experience for every participant.

Perfect for kids new to baseball! This introductory program teaches basic skills and fundamentals in a fun, supportive environment. Children will build confidence, develop social skills, and foster a love for the sport.
Format: Teams meet once a week for a 45-minute practice. Exciting 3-inning games are held on Wednesdays.
Ideal for second-year players! This program builds on existing skills with five weeks of instruction in a fun and encouraging setting. Participants will continue to grow their confidence, improve their abilities, and deepen their love for baseball.
Format: Teams meet once a week for a 45-minute practice. Action-packed 3-inning games are held on Thursdays.
Coach Pitch focuses on developing strong baseball fundamentals. Players will improve their skills, learn teamwork, and enjoy the game in a supportive environment.
Format: Teams practice once a week and play games against other Carbon Valley teams on Thursday evenings.
Batter up! This recreational summer league helps players enhance their batting, throwing, and overall game skills while having fun. It’s a great opportunity to challenge themselves and enjoy competitive play.
Format: Teams practice for 90 minutes each week and compete in games. Some travel to Platteville and LaSalle is required.
General League Information
- Team Formation:
Teams are formed based on coach or friend requests, practice day preferences, and school affiliation. Requests are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed. - Practice Details:
Practice times, days, and locations are determined by the coach and facility availability. - Coach Meetings:
Coaches’ meetings are typically held 1–2 weeks before the first scheduled practice. - Uniforms:
All CVPRD leagues include jerseys as part of the registration. - Equipment Requirements:
Participants are responsible for providing sport-specific equipment as outlined in the parent letter for each program. - Game Officiating:
In general, leagues for children ages 8 and younger are self-officiated by coaches and parent volunteers. Leagues for ages 9 and older are officiated by trained game officials. - Travel:
Some travel may be required for older age division leagues. - Schedules:
