About Us
The Carbon Valley Active Adults and Community Center offers a variety of social, fitness, educational, recreational, wellness, and cultural opportunities for adults age 55 and better. From interesting day trips to educational talks and seminars to sizzling special events, we’re here to help you live your best life. Drop in anytime during business hours to check out the facility and see how you can get connected with older adults in the area. Ongoing programs and activities include:

Carbon Valley active adult programs promote healthy living and social engagement while encouraging involvement in the community.
Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
