Youth Soccer

CVPRD Youth Soccer League offers age-appropriate divisions for athletes from preschool through 6th grade, providing a fun and supportive environment for players to learn, grow, and enjoy the game of soccer.

Each division is designed to promote skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Coaches focus on teaching core fundamentals and creating a positive experience for every participant.

CVPRD offers two soccer seasons each year:

  • Spring Season: March–May
  • Fall Season: August–October

    2026 Spring Soccer

    (Pre-School, Kindergarten, 1st-6th Grade)

    District Registration Open: Monday, November 24, 2025
    Non-District Registration Open: Monday, December 8, 2025
    Registration Deadline: Monday, February 2, 2026

    U5 COED Soccer (Preschool, Age 4 – Coed) 

    A fun and engaging introduction to soccer for our youngest athletes! Players will learn basic skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting through age-appropriate games and activities designed to build confidence and coordination.

    • Format: One session per week on Saturdays for 7 weeks, combining practice and a short game
    • Practice/Game Dates: Saturdays, March 14 – May 2
    • No Practice/Game: Saturday, March 21 (SVVSD Spring Break)
    • Fee: $57 District / $86 Non-District
    U6–U8 Soccer (Kindergarten–2nd Grade) 

    A fun and skill-building soccer experience for young athletes! Players will learn the fundamentals of the game—dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork—through age-appropriate practices and games.

    • Format: One practice per week and Saturday games for 7 weeks
    • Leagues Offered:
      • U6 Coed – Kindergarten
      • U7/U8 Boys – 1st & 2nd Grade
      • U7/U8 Girls – 1st & 2nd Grade
    • Practice Starts: Week of March 2
    • Game Dates: Saturdays, Saturdays, March 14 – May 2
    • No Practice/Game: Saturday, March 21 (SVVSD Spring Break)
    • Fee: $71 District / $107 Non-District
    U10–U12 Soccer (3rd–6th Grade) 

    A fun and skill-focused soccer experience for older youth players! Players continue to build on fundamentals while learning game strategy and teamwork. Some travel may be required.

    • Format: One 90-minute practice per week and Saturday games for 7 weeks.
    • Leagues Offered:
      • U9/U10 Boys – 3rd & 4th Grade
      • U9/U10 Girls – 3rd & 4th Grade
      • U11/U12 Boys – 5th & 6th Grade
      • U11/U12Girls – 5th & 6th Grade - Not offered this season due to low enrollment
        • Families are encouraged to explore alternative programs:

          • Real Colorado North

    What You Need To Know 

    General League Information

    • Team Formation:
      Teams are formed based on coach or friend requests, practice day preferences, and school affiliation. Requests are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed. 
    • Practice Details:
      Practice times, days, and locations are determined by the coach and facility availability.
    • Coach Meetings:
      Coaches’ meetings are typically held 1–2 weeks before the first scheduled practice.
    • Uniforms:
      All CVPRD leagues include jerseys as part of the registration.
    • Equipment Requirements:
      Participants are responsible for providing sport-specific equipment as outlined in the parent letter for each program.
    • Game Officiating:
      In general, leagues for children ages 8 and younger are self-officiated by coaches and parent volunteers. Leagues for ages 9 and older are officiated by trained game officials.
    • Travel:
      Some travel may be required for older age division leagues.

    Mission and Purpose

    To provide exceptional community-based Athletic programs for all ages by providing quality service to all participants and offering a safe and well-maintained environment where our customers can gather for a fun and enjoyable experience.

    Goals

    • Learning all fundamental and basic sport-specific skills and establishing building blocks for overall improvement.
    • Teaching the value of teamwork and becoming an effective member of a team
    • Teach sportsmanship and fair play by emphasizing proper treatment of teammates, coaches, opponents, and officials.
    • Create opportunities for the customers of all three communities to connect and build relationships and friendships through sports programs.
