Group Fitness

Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District's fitness program strives to positively impact our community and surrounding areas by providing the highest quality experience through safe, effective and fun fitness programming. Our group fitness classes will challenge you and help you achieve your goals. Highly trained, certified and qualified instructors teach low impact to high impact classes and everything in between.

Fitness classes are held at the Carbon Valley Recreation Center unless stated otherwise. Drop-in group fitness classes are included with daily admission fees or rec center membership passes.

LesMills Bodypump HEAVY! 

Unlike the original Les Mills BODYPUMP, which focuses on higher repetitions with lighter weights, HEAVY uses longer recovery periods to focus on technique and lifting heavier loads with more foundational lifts like squats, deadlifts and presses. It is designed to be more accessible than traditional free-weight lifting, with expert coaching and iconic music driving the workout!

Bodypump HEAVY will be offered the 2nd and 4th weeks each month during the following Bodypump classes:
Wednesday | 9:15 AM | Whitney
Thursday | 12 PM | Suzi
Thursday | 6 PM | Sammy
