What do you hope to accomplish during your time on the Board?

In my first year, I would like to learn as much as I can about the operations of the District. During that time I would like to make sure that members of the community feel like they have a voice in the direction of the district. 

What’s your background or experience you bring to the table?

I work in the Youth Protection Space. I have experience writing policies for Youth Programing, and implementing large workflows.

What do you love most about Carbon Valley Parks & Rec?

I love the gymnastics center, it is such a cool facility with amazing staff!

How do you and your family or friends use Parks & Rec?

My wife and I workout at the gym 3 days a week. My daughter does gymnastics 2 days a week, and we regularly use the pool as a family.

What’s one fun fact people might not know about you?

I am a Rock Climber.

In a few words, what does “community” mean to you?

Community is a place where we can all come together regardless of background to support each other. It is creating a safe environment for us all to live and thrive in.
