Aqua Fitness Classes

There are no additional costs for any of our fitness classes. All group fitness classes are included with recreation center admission or membership. Click here for the current fitness class schedule.

Water shoes are recommended for all river classes. 

AQUA BOOTCAMP*: Intervals, plyometrics, and drills in the hydrodynamic pool environment results in an explosive workout. Limit 16. Lap pool.

AQUA POWER*: Get your heart pumping during this moderate intensity full body workout. Class includes both cardio and muscle conditioning segments using a variety of equipment followed by active stretching. Limit 16. Lap pool.

AQUA ZUMBA®*:  Aqua Zumba® blends the Zumba® philosophy with water resistance, for one pool party you shouldn't miss! There is less impact on your joints during an Aqua Zumba® class so you can really let loose. Water creates natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles. Limit 12. Lap Pool

CIRCUIT: Build endurance and increase your muscular strength, including core and balance, in this effective fast paced workout. Activity pool area. (shallow)

DEEP WATER AQUA TONE*: Uses belts and noodles for support in deep water. Exercises will challenge the core without stress on the joints. Comfort in deep water is encouraged. Limit 10. Lap pool.

RIVER EXTREME*: A fast paced river class designed to challenge and condition the entire body. Limit 10. River.

RIVER STRENGTH*: Utilizes resistance with tools, aerobic intervals and active recovery providing a great calorie burning workout. Limit 10. River.

SILVERSPLASH®*: A fun, shallow-water exercise class that uses a signature splash-board and other fun tools to increase movement and intensity options. Splash is suitable for all skill levels and is safe for non-swimmers. Limit 14. Activity pool (shallow). Note: You do not have to be a SilverSneakers member to attend class.
