GROUP FITNESS CLASSES

Get moving and feel great! The Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District offers a variety of group fitness classes throughout the day and evening. With so many options, there's sure to be something for everyone. All group fitness classes are included with membership or general admission.

NEW CLASSES, EVENTS AND UPDATES

Les Mills GRIT  - Coming January 21
Les Mills programming brings the very best research-backed High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) you can find. The GRIT Series includes GRIT Strength, GRIT Athletic and GRIT Cardio. It's 30 minutes of heart-pounding, challenging workouts in a class setting. Whether you’re looking to improve strength, build lean muscle, perform like an athlete or increase your cardiovascular endurance and maximize calorie burn, GRIT is where you want to be! COLD WEATHER CYCLING
Hey cyclists! In Colorado’s changing weather some days you can ride outside and some days you can’t. Take your cycling indoors at our Cold Weather Cycling class.

NEW YEAR'S BOOTCAMP CHALLENGE
Lose fat, improve strength and endurance, and enhance your functional fitness during this 6-week, kick-butt challenge that combines cardio, strength training, and muscular endurance training. A body fat test is included prior to the start of the program and at the completion of the challenge. Participants will be eligible to win prizes if they complete all six. BODYPUMP® TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Join us for the two year anniversary of Les Mills Bodypump™ at CVPRD and for the launch of BODYPUMP® release #108. Celebrate with your Bodypump instructors and fellow Bodypumpers by dressing up like your favorite super hero! Enjoy challenging strength and endurance training, fun, and prizes from January 14-19. BODY COMPOSITION ASSESSMENTS
Certified personal trainers will utilize Microfit, our new state-of-the-art fitness assessment software, to give you a complete and accurate body composition test. To schedule an appointment call 303-833-3660 x 114 or email sshankweiler@cvprd.com. Age: 12+  
Fee: $15 D, $20 ND

WEIGHT AND CARDIO ROOM ASSESSMENTS
Fitness staff will walk you through the weight and cardio rooms to give you a better understanding of how to adjust the circuit equipment and properly position yourself on the machines. While this orientation will familiarize you with the fitness equipment, it will not provide an exercise plan.
